Medical weight loss is an alternative to bariatric surgery. Changes in nutrition, activity and behaviors, combined with medications if needed, help you achieve your weight loss goals.

Your Team

What sets the Total Weight Loss Center program apart from other medical weight loss programs is that our team - medical weight loss doctor (bariatrician), registered dietitians and certified personal trainer - loves and understands the science behind medical weight loss and medicine. We also understand how important listening to our patients and meeting them where they are is to their success.

During your medical weight loss appointments our bariatrician, Dr. Breann Kelley, MD, DABOM, FOMA, and team at TWLC will look at four key pillars: medication, behavior, nutrition, and exercise. Appointments will be spaced every 4-6 weeks with one of our providers for check ins, accountability, and support.

Throughout your weight loss journey, we will also look at hormone regulation, appetite and blood sugar control, sleep hygiene and overall quality of life.

Our team educates, empowers and supports you in achieving not only your weight loss goals but also in improving your overall health and quality of life.

After losing just 5%-10% of their body fat, many people notice positive changes in their overall health, such as:

  • Better triglyceride, cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure numbers
  • A boost in self-esteem
  • Improvement in sleep apnea, GERD and fatty liver problems
  • Improved urinary incontinence
  • Increased energy
  • Less joint pain
  • Lower risk of developing certain types of cancer
  • Reduced inflammation
  • Stronger immune system
